On-Farm Manufacturing

Equipment that scales.

Proprietary manufacturing and filling equipment designed to support on-site production — bringing the factory to the farm.

The System

Production where it matters most.

Our proprietary on-farm manufacturing system eliminates the need to ship pre-formed substrates thousands of miles. Instead, raw inputs arrive compact and are transformed into finished trays on-site — reducing cost, carbon, and complexity. The system is designed around three core components: heated kettles with integrated mixers, our proprietary filling system, and our precision-engineered tray mask design.

01

Heated Kettles with Mixers

Industrial-grade heated kettles with properly suited mixing systems are used to make and dispense the proprietary hydrogel formulas on-site. QC metrics are measured in real-time, ensuring consistent substrate quality batch after batch. The system is designed for your throughput and is easily configured over time to adapt to your ever-changing needs. The compact footprint means a complete mixing station fits within 400 ft².

02

Proprietary Filling System

Our filling system is engineered for speed, simplicity, and precision. A single operator can produce 1,000+ trays per hour — turning raw powder inputs into finished, plant-ready substrates in a continuous flow. The system requires minimal training, minimal floor space, and delivers repeatable results at commercial scale.

03

Proprietary Tray Mask Design

The tray mask is the precision interface between our filling system and the final product. Engineered with specific tolerances, each mask ensures uniform filled cells are water tight until the gel sets. The design accommodates multiple cell configurations and was developed with growers in mind delivering a simple, reusable, and scalable solution.

Compact Footprint

A factory in 400 square feet.

The entire Veritas production system — from raw input pallets to finished tray storage — fits within a space smaller than a two-car garage. Designed for integration into existing greenhouse operations, the layout supports a continuous single-operator workflow capable of producing 1,000+ trays per hour.

Powder inputs arrive palletized and compact. One pallet of inputs can manufacture over 20,000 finished trays on-site — output that would require 280+ pallets of pre-formed plugs shipped from thousands of miles away.

Supply Chain Impact

The math is simple.

On-farm production fundamentally changes the logistics equation. Instead of shipping water, air, plastic trays, and pre-formed substrates across continents, we ship concentrated powder inputs and manufacture where plants grow.

89%
Space Reduction

Traditional pre-formed plugs require ~3,700 ft² of storage for 280 pallets. Veritas fits input storage, production, and staging in 400 ft².

1+ yr
Shelf Life

Veritas powder inputs are shelf-stable for over a year — compared to 90 days for traditional pre-formed substrates. Growers buy when the price is right and produce when the season demands.

12 mo
Price Lock

Extended shelf life means growers can contract their entire annual volume at a single, fixed rate — eliminating exposure to seasonal price swings, supply shortages, and global logistics disruptions.

A smaller footprint. In every sense.

On-farm production with Veritas inputs eliminates long-haul transportation of pre-formed substrates. The result is a dramatically simpler supply chain with a fraction of the carbon cost — getting growers what they need, where they need it, when they need it.
